Jide Working to Rectify GPL and Apache License Violations

Android-based Remix OS Violates GPL and Apache License

*Update* we have spoken to Jide and have been assured that they are aware of the issues and are actively working to resolve them. We should have further updates by the end of the day.

Some are claiming that the developers behind Remix OS are ignoring GPL and Apache License requirements in multiple areas. This was first discovered with the striking similarities of UNetbootin and then again with various bits of the Android-x86 code. Lastly, there have been multiple people asking for the source code and either being ignored or told flat out no because “Remix OS isn’t open source”.
