Samsung will Reportedly Use its Own Touchscreen IC for the Galaxy S7

A new report out of Korea claims that Samsung will be using its own Touch Integrated Circuit for the upcoming Galaxy S7. We’ve seen Samsung start to use more and more components developed internally and this report suggests the Touch IC will be yet another piece that will come from Samsung themselves. The Touch IC is said to be developed by its System LSI division.

Xiaomi Starts Rolling Out Android 6.0 to the Mi 4

Xiaomi has announced that they are rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 7 to the Mi 4. We’re told that the Immersive Status Bar now supports more applications than its KitKat version. They say the camera is faster and produces photos that are more clear than before, the display is brighter, and they’ve worked on heat generation as well as battery optimizations too.
