With the launch of the Huawei P9 and the P9 Plus, Huawei is going after the big guys. Coupled with its Kirin 955 SoC and a unique rear camera setup, the phones are set to be one of those distinct phones of 2016, even though they may not necessarily be the best.
This brings our attention to Huawei, and how the company has grown in the recent years. A company that started off by making phone switches is now making its own competitive smartphones, complete with its own in-house processor. The company has grown steadily, and is now looking forward to expand its presence on the global scene. So we ask you:
What do you think of Huawei as a company? Do you approve of their smartphone products? Do you think they can compete with the likes of Apple and Samsung at the global level? Will they be a dominant force in the mobile industry in the years to come? What do you think about their marketing, distribution and pricing strategies?
